Scope

This standard specifies the double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction detection methods for chrysanthemum stem necrosis virus (see Appendix A). This standard is applicable to the detection of living plant materials that may carry chrysanthemum stem necrosis virus, including vegetative propagation materials, tissue culture seedlings, seeds and plants.
