- This document stipulates the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments of medical surgical masks (hereinafter referred to as "masks"). This document is applicable to disposable medical masks used in medical environments and invasive operating environments that contain potential risks of blood, body fluid, and secretion contamination. This document does not apply to medical protective masks and other protective masks in working environments.
