The global climate problem is becoming increasingly severe, and greenhouse gas emissions caused by human activities have become one of the major issues facing governments and societies around the world. In order to curb the trend of climate warming and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, product carbon footprint is widely used around the world as an indicator that can visually display greenhouse gas emission information. Product carbon footprint helps governments, organizations or individuals truly understand the impact of production and life on climate change, and thereby formulate and implement action plans to reduce the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This document aims to formulate technical specifications suitable for product carbon footprint data quality evaluation, guide standardized data quality evaluation, and ensure the credibility and accuracy of the data.
