- This standard specifies the high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining the specific migration amount of 2, 4, 6-triamino-1, 3, 5-triazine (melamine) in food-contact plastic packaging materials and products and the positive verification of GC-MS method. This standard is applicable to the determination and verification of melamine migration in plastic packaging materials and products in contact with food. The detection limit of melamine in food simulants by this method is 0.6 mg/kg (mg/L).
