Scope: 1.1 This test method covers a rapid and quantitative determination of the residue in emulsified asphalts using a moisture balance analyzer. It is applicable to all nonsolvent-containing emulsion types. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. 1.3 A precision and bias statement for this test method has not been completed at this time.
