FOREWORD AND OBJECTIVES The objectives of this code are (1) unification of the methods used in measuring@ sampling and calculating the quantities of petroleum and its products transported in non-pressure type cars@ (2) establishment of instructions and special procedures as a basis for agreements between consignor and consignee@ and (3) standardization of the methods used for calibrating tank car tanks.
