INTRODUCTION This document presents test waveforms and techniques for simulated lightning testing of aerospace vehicles and hardware. The waveforms presented are based on the best available knowledge of the natural lightning g environment coupled with a practical consideration of state-of-the-art laboratory techniques. The document does not include design criteria nor does it specify which items should or should not be tested.
