- Scope
- This standard specifies the performance and safety requirements and test procedures for high- and medium-volume suction systems. It also includes requirements for manufacturer's instructions, labeling and packaging. This standard applies to high- and medium-volume suction systems forming part of dental equipment. Where applicable, the requirements of this standard take precedence over the GB 9706.1-2007 general standard when specified in the terms of this standard. This standard does not apply to low-volume suction systems.
