- This document specifies the quality management requirements for the design, evaluation, procurement, manufacturing, acceptance, storage and labeling of metal materials used for items important to safety in nuclear power plants. This document is applicable to the quality management of metal materials used for important safety items in nuclear power plant machinery, including profiles, plates, pipes, bars, wires, forgings, castings, etc. The quality management of metal materials used in other safety-important items shall be implemented accordingly.
