This standard applies to serrated adhesive joints (hereinafter referred to as joints) for splicing along the length of pieces of structural lumber, parts and elements of building and other structures. The joints are also used for gluing layers of laminated timber structures (GLS) and cross-laminated timber (CLP), for gluing at different angles massive wooden elements made of sawn timber, elements of CLK, WPC and laminated veneer lumber from layers of peeled softwood veneer (LVL). The requirements of the standard should be taken into account when developing regulatory documents and technical documentation for specific types of structures, as well as when making connections. The standard does not apply to joints of wood-based panel materials made from chips: oriented strand boards, particle boards and fibreboards
