This document specifies the instrumentation, sample preparation, measurement steps, test reports, etc. for measuring the number of layers of graphene-related two-dimensional materials using the optical contrast method (including reflection spectroscopy and optical picture methods). This document is applicable to the measurement of the number of layers of graphene flakes and graphene films produced by mechanical exfoliation or chemical vapor deposition (CVD: chemical vapor deposition) with high crystal quality, a lateral size of not less than 2 μm, and a number of layers of not more than 5. Graphene flakes and graphene films produced by other methods can be implemented with reference to this document.
