- What is ISO 20558-2 – PPS test specimens about ? ISO 20558-2 describes methods for preparation of test specimens, as well as test methods to be used in determining the properties of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) moulding and extrusion materials. Requirements for handling test material and for conditioning both the test material before moulding and the specimens before testing are provided in ISO 20558-2 . Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens, and procedures for measuring properties of the materials from which these specimens are made are described in ISO 20558-2 . Properties and test methods which are suitable and necessary to characterize PPS moulding and extrusion materials are also listed in ISO 20558-2 .
