- This standard specifies the requirements, quality assurance regulations and delivery requirements for aramid III fiber (hereinafter referred to as "fiber"). This standard applies to aramid III fibers made by solution polymerization and wet spinning using p-phenylenediamine, terephthaloyl chloride and aromatic heterocyclic third monomer as polymerized monomers.
