Scope

This standard specifies the determination of water content in urea by the Karl Fischer method. This standard applies to the determination of the moisture content of industrial and agricultural urea synthesized from ammonia and carbon dioxide. For arbitration, Karl Fischer's reagent containing adjacency is used.
