Scope: 1.1 This test method covers the determination of the water wash sieve residue in regular untreated carbon blacks. It may not be applicable to oil-treated carbon blacks because the oil would prevent proper wetting of the black by water. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
