This document specifies a micro-open system rapid graphite digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry method for arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg) content in soil. This document applies to the determination of arsenic and mercury content in soil. When the sampling amount is 0.2g (dry weight) and the fixed volume after digestion is 50mL, the detection limit of As and the quantitation limit of this method are 0.01mg/kg and 0.04mg/kg; the detection limit of Hg is 0.002 mg/kg, the limit of quantification is 0.008 mg/kg.
