These requirements cover self-contained coin@ credit card@ debit card@ currency@ and token changers and actuators rated not more than 600 volts for use in accordance with the National Electrical Code@ ANSI/NFPA 70. These requirements cover open-type appliances intended to be factory or field installed in vending machines and other appliances. These requirements cover open-type controls for use with coin@ credit card@ debit card@ currency@ and token-operated devices intended to be factory installed within vending machines and other appliances. These requirements do not cover the effectiveness of antitheft protection features. Battery operated coin and currency changers and actuators are covered by these requirements.
