Scope

This document specifies a method for determining the fluorine content in surface coatings of aluminum and aluminum alloy products using a scanning electron microscope energy spectrometer. This document is applicable to the determination of fluorine content in surface coatings of aluminum and aluminum alloy products. The determination of fluorine content in surface coatings of other metal products can also be implemented with reference.
