Scope
What is ISO 10362 ‑ 1- Determination of water in total particulate matter in cigarettes about? ISO 10362 ‑ 1 is a standard that cover method for the determination of water in total particulate matter from the mainstream smoke which enables you to determine moisture content in tobacco which affects the smoking quality. ISO 10362 ‑ 1 specifies a method for the gas-chromatographic determination of water in total particulate matter from the mainstream smoke. ISO 10362 ‑ 1 is also applicable to the determination of water in total particulate matter from the mainstream smoke obtained by non-standard smoking. Note: In countries where ISO 10362 ‑ 1 method is not used, the determination of water in total particulate matter from the mainstream smoke is performed using the Karl Fischer method.
