This standard applies to glycyrrhetinic acid made from licorice (leguminous plants Glycyrrhizauralensis Fisch., Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat. and Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) as the main raw material through extraction, acetylation, alkaline hydrolysis, crystallization and purification. This standard also applies to raw materials for oral care and cleaning products such as toothpaste, oral cleaning care solution, and denture stabilizer.
