- Scope
- This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for determination of residual vinylidene chloride in food contact plastic packaging materials and products and the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry verification method. This standard is applicable to the determination and verification of polyvinylidene chloride monomer residues in plastic packaging materials and products that come into contact with food. The minimum detection concentration of this method is 5 mg/kg.
