- This document specifies the method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of hollow fiber membranes to acidic, alkaline and oxidizing chemical cleaning agents. This document is applicable to the evaluation of the corrosion resistance of hollow fiber microfiltration membranes and hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes to acidic, alkaline and oxidative chemical cleaning agents. The evaluation of chemical cleaning agent corrosion resistance of other types of membranes can be implemented by reference.
