Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the content of 12 N-nitrosamines (see Appendix A) in footwear materials using gas chromatography-mass selective detector (GC-MSD). This standard applies to all types of footwear materials. Mainly involves leather, artificial leather, synthetic leather, microfiber synthetic leather, textile materials, rubber, plastics, etc.
