- This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, accompanying documents, transportation and storage and quality commitments of battery counterbalanced forklifts. This document applies to battery counterbalanced forklifts (hereinafter referred to as forklifts) whose control method is ride-on, powered by lead-acid batteries or lithium batteries, and with a rated lifting capacity of 500 kg to 10,000 kg. Walk-up counterbalanced forklifts can be implemented as a reference.
