This standard specifies the basic requirements for grade 8 steel forged lifting components (hereinafter referred to as "components") with an ultimate working load not greater than 63 t. It is mainly used for the following hoisting slings: --Slinging chains specified in GB/T 20652 and GB/T 25853; --Steel wire rope slings specified in ISO 7531; --Braided slings. This standard does not apply to hand-forged parts, welded links, and other welded parts.
