Scope

This document stipulates the quota level, technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation method of energy consumption per unit product of polysilicon and germanium (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption). This document is applicable to enterprises that use high-purity hydrogen to reduce trichlorosilicon to produce polysilicon for photovoltaics (hereinafter referred to as "polysilicon"), and to produce high-purity germanium tetrachloride and high-purity germanium dioxide using germanium concentrate and recycled germanium raw materials as raw materials. Enterprises of germanium ingots, zone melting germanium ingots, and germanium single crystals carry out energy consumption calculation and assessment, as well as energy consumption control for new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects. This document is not applicable to the calculation of energy consumption of enterprises producing polysilicon by electronic grade polysilicon and silane fluidized bed method.
