- This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for visual comfort of microcomputer monitors. This standard applies to monitors for desktop computers (including all-in-one computers), workstations, and portable microcomputers, including but not limited to liquid crystal displays (LCD), organic light-emitting diode displays (OLED), etc. Other displays can be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to cathode ray tube (CRT) displays.
