- This document specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, reagents and materials, test procedures, precision and test reports for the determination of glycol ether and ether ester content in coatings using gas chromatography. This document is applicable to the determination of glycol ethers and ether esters in various coatings, including but not limited to the glycol ethers and ether esters listed in Table A.1 in Appendix A. The determination of glycol ether and ether ester content in other materials can also refer to this document.
