Scope
This standard specifies the measurement methods for formaldehyde and methanol in the exhaust of light vehicles, heavy vehicles and engines burning methanol fuel, including vehicles and engines using methanol single fuel and diesel/methanol dual fuel. Other non-conventional pollutants emitted by cars and engines burning methanol fuel can be measured with reference to this standard method.
