Scope

This part of T/CSEE0081 specifies the operating regulations, equipment abnormalities and handling, maintenance strategies, maintenance classification and levels, maintenance conditions, maintenance items and requirements of the unified power flow controller (hereinafter referred to as UPFC) converter valve. This section applies to UPFC converter valves using modular multilevel converters (MMC) at 220kV and 500kV voltage levels. UPFC converter valves with other voltage levels or forms can be implemented as a reference.
