- This document describes a method for the determination of the pH of natural and synthetic latexes using a pH meter fitted with a composite glass and silver reference electrode. This document applies to both natural latex and synthetic latex. This document also applies to prevulcanized latexes and compounded latexes. Note: When the pH value is greater than 11, the accuracy of the method in this document will be reduced.
