Scope

This document describes the materials, apparatus, and methods used for testing the impact resistance of additively manufactured metallic intervertebral cages. This document is applicable to the impact resistance testing of intervertebral fusion cages containing porous structures manufactured by the powder bed fusion process using laser or electron beam as the energy source.
