- This standard applies to non-metallic materials (hereinafter referred to as materials) of the external surfaces of space technology products exposed to vacuum-thermal effects and establishes a method for determining mass loss and the content of volatile condensable substances in the material under the above conditions. This standard can be applied in the development of methods for measuring parameters that determine mass loss and the content of volatile condensable substances and non-metallic materials under specific operating conditions
