This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and warranty commitments of battery pallet trucks (hereinafter referred to as "pallet trucks"). This standard applies to battery-powered pallet trucks with a maximum height above the ground of the upper surface of the battery-powered forks not exceeding 300 mm.
