Scope

This standard specifies a continuous flow analytical method for the determination of cyanide in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of cyanide in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. When the detection light path is 50 mm, the detection limit of cyanide in water using the isonicotinic acid-barbituric acid method is 0.001 mg/L, and the lower detection limit is 0.004 mg/L.
