Scope

This standard specifies the test method to determine the adhesion of coatings by burnishing . It applies to coatings of ductile metals such as cadmium, copper or silver with a hardness of less than 250 HV and thickness of less than or equal to 40 μm. It is applicable whenever referenced. note:1) See ISO 2080.
