- This standard specifies the principles, content, procedures and other requirements for the investigation of soil radioactive contamination conditions at sites associated with the development and utilization of radioactive mines. This standard applies to non-uranium (thorium) nuclide activity concentration exceeding 1Bq/g in raw ores, intermediate products, tailings (slag) or other residues in the development and utilization of non-uranium (thorium) mineral resources. Investigation on the radioactive contamination status of soil at sites engaged in the development and utilization of thorium mineral resources. Investigations of other sites contaminated by natural radioactivity can be carried out by reference.
