Scope

This standard specifies the terms, principles, instruments and auxiliary equipment, standard samples, sample preparation, measurement conditions and methods, and result analysis for quantitative analysis of carbon segregation in the center of high carbon steel hot-rolled wire rods by spectrometer. This standard applies to high-carbon steel hot-rolled wire rods with a carbon content greater than 0.65%.
