- This document specifies the energy efficiency testing and evaluation methods and energy efficiency indicators for typical shell and tube heat exchangers. This document is applicable to liquid-liquid non-phase change working conditions and arcuate baffle bare tube bundle shell heat exchangers. Applicable test media: a) The shell test medium is THERMINOL 55 heat transfer oil (thermal fluid); b) Tube side The medium is water (cold fluid).
