Scope

This document specifies the principles, methods and requirements for the selection, use and maintenance of protective equipment for personnel operating, testing and maintenance of sulfur hexafluoride electrical equipment. This document is applicable to protective equipment for preventing sulfur hexafluoride and its decomposition products when operating, testing and maintenance personnel are working on sulfur hexafluoride electrical equipment.
