This document specifies the general regulations for the design of indirect evaporative cooling air conditioning systems for data centers, energy efficiency requirements, indoor and outdoor design parameters, airflow organization, equipment selection, power supply and distribution, architecture and structure, monitoring and control, etc. This document is applicable to the design of indirect evaporative cooling air conditioning systems using mechanical refrigeration as a supplementary cold source in newly built, renovated and expanded data center main rooms. This document does not apply to the design of indirect evaporative cooling chilled water systems and indirect evaporative cooling air conditioning systems using chilled water for supplementary cooling in data centers.
