Scope

This document stipulates the general requirements for the safe operation of oil tanker cleaning tanks, as well as the safety operation requirements for tank washing, crude oil tank washing, degassing, and tank cleaning. This document applies to tank cleaning operations on oil tankers of 150 gross tonnage and above in waters under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China.
