Scope

This document specifies a method for the determination of mercury content in industrial sulfur using microwave digestion-atomic fluorescence photometry. This document is applicable to the determination of mercury in industrial sulfur produced from petroleum refinery gas, natural gas, coal chemical acid gas, coke oven gas, flue gas, sulfur-containing waste gas recovery and pyrite.
