- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of isobutylene-isoprene rubber for tire vulcanization bladders. This standard applies to isobutylene-isoprene rubber (hereinafter referred to as "capsule butyl rubber") made from isobutylene and isoprene as the main raw materials through low-temperature copolymerization and used in the manufacture of tire vulcanization bladders.
