Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of fluorescent whitening agents in plastic products. This standard is applicable to the determination of fluorescent whitening agent content in plastic products made of five materials: polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), and polycarbonate (PC). . The detection limit of each fluorescent whitening agent in this standard is: 0.05 mg/kg.
