Scope

This document specifies a method for calculating the temperature of cable conductors by measuring the temperature of the cable surface or internal structure. This document is applicable to single-core cross-linked polyethylene insulated AC power cables with rated voltage of 110 (66) kV and above. Single-core cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables of 35 kV and below can be used as a reference. This document does not apply to cable accessories conductor temperature calculation.
