Scope

This document describes a method for detecting ammonia content in leachates of coal-fired power plant ash using an ammonia gas-sensitive electrode. This document is applicable to the determination of the total amount of ammonia and ammonium salts in coal-fired power plant ash. The detection limit of this method is 2mg/kg when converted to dry ash.
