- This document specifies the requirements for well abandonment procedures and data management in offshore oil and gas exploration and development operations. This document is applicable to oil and gas exploration and development operations carried out in the internal waters, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf, and other sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China. Operations in overseas waters can also be used as a reference.
