Scope
This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-atomic fluorescence method for the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in water. This standard applies to the determination of methylmercury and ethylmercury in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, industrial wastewater and seawater. When the sampling volume is 1 L, the stripping liquid volume is 3.0 ml, and the injection volume is 100 μl, the detection limit of the method is 0.08 ng/L ~ 0.1 ng/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.32 ng/L ~ 0.4 ng/L. See Appendix A for details.
