This standard specifies the test conditions, technical requirements, test methods, etc. for primary frequency modulation flywheel energy storage systems. This standard is applicable to flywheel energy storage systems for primary frequency regulation auxiliary equipment of power system power supplies with a rated power of 1MW and above and a support time of not less than 2 minutes. Flywheel energy storage systems for primary frequency regulation auxiliary equipment with other capacities and support times may be implemented as a reference. The flywheel energy storage system can be used for independent primary frequency regulation and combined primary frequency regulation with other energy storage.
